Over the years, CES expanded its services to include utility management, construction at-risk, and civil engineering services.We are hiring a Responsible Charge Engineer for our Engineering practice in the Salem/Roanoke Area.Position Summary:Reporting to the Regional Director as an RCE Engineer you will play a pivotal role in leading inspector and construction management teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall project contract and regulatory compliance
• Submittal processing and review
• Review design documents for constructability and compliance
• Provide oversight of submittals reviews during construction delivery
• Development of quality control and assurance plans
• Provide direction on project changes, claim avoidance, monthly payment, and acceptanceEducation, Certifications, and Experience:
• Professional Engineer licensure required
• Prior experience on VDOT Construction Projects required
• Minimum of 10 years of transportation construction experience required
