  • Job Details
  • RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
  • RATIOS: 1:5-6.
  • Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
  • 36 hrs only.
  • SHIFT: 12HR DAYS.
  • Travelers are required to work every other weekend.
  • RTO -7 DAYS MAX if RTO includes weekends, time will be added to end of contract to make up for those dates.
  • Unit Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
  • Scheduling Type: Preferred Scheduling.
  • Unit Orientation: 36 Hours.
  • Scrubs: Navy.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year Experience in MedSurg.
    • Traveler Experience: Unit WILL NOT Accept 1st Time Travelers (Must have at least 1 year of travel experience. Prefer 2 years previous travel experience).
    • Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias and Management of Dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE.

      • *If a traveler calls out of a shift, they are expected to make up that day the same week or at the end of their contract.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: We care primarily for Stroke patients, but also care for possible Neurosurgery patients as well as other Neuro diagnoses, such as Epilepsy, Traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and many more.
        • SPECIAL PROCEDURES/UNIT DETAILS: We have a 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) that is considered Intermediate level and that nurse has 4:1.
        • 42 daily census. 43 rooms/beds.
        • UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours.
