• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required
• Tech Cert Verification - National required for certain tech positions
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
• State License 1 Verification required
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute required for specific departments

  • 25-bed Medical Unit with Internal Medicine Physicians and Residents
  • Specializes in the care of acutely and chronically ill adults with a wide range of complex medical diagnoses
  • Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
  • All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity
  • Travelers must work two out of the three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year). Please ensure traveler's RTO does not cover more than one of these holidays.

      • 3x12 hour days, 7A-7P
      • ALL RTO MUST BE SENT UP FRONT WITH SUBMITTAL
      • Holiday RTO Requirement: Travelers must work two out of the three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year). Please ensure traveler's RTO does not cover more than one of these holidays.

        • TIME SENSITIVE! Drivers License/State ID required within 48 hours of signing. Carilion confirms radius to the facility based on the address on the Drivers License/State ID. If candidate cannot provide a Drivers License/State ID with an address more than 100 miles away from their contracted facility, they will be canceled. Drivers license/state ID is required regardless of documents used on I-9.
