qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Thomasville, North Carolina,
27360 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty:
ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submission; required
in hand at time of start Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH (CCRN and
PALS Preferred) Must-Have: Vents, IV Start, PA Lines, Telemetry,
Travel nursing experience Job Description: - Work in the ICU/CCU
with a focus on medical and surgical intermediate and critical care
level patients. - Handle patient care using unit systems like
Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR. - Maintain a target nurse-to-patient ratio
of 1:2-3, subject to fluctuation based on unit needs. - Participate
in a float rotation schedule and may be required to assist other
units, such as Med Surg, during crisis needs. - Comply with weekend
requirements, working every other weekend. - Complete orientation
involving 12 hours of unit orientation and hospital orientation
during the first week. - Wear navy blue or white scrubs, or a
combination of both. - Pass EKG testing before starting. - Adhere
to fatigue policy, working no more than 5 consecutive days or more
than 60 hours in a week. - Complete non-billable modules (8-10
hours for acute care roles) pre-start and annually as part of
