TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Salem, Virginia, 24153 Pay Information $2,002 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Rehab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Virginia License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Med/Surg or PCU experience Job Description: - Work within an inpatient rehabilitation unit. - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, a physiatrist, a physician assistant, and a neuropsychologist. - Focus on patient functional improvements and achieving patient goals for functional independence. - Handle patient ratios of 5-7:1. - Utilize equipment such as vitals machines, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanners. - Document through the Meditech system. - Perform Med administration including IVs, PICC, PEG tube admin, bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheter, bladder irrigation, and blood administration. - Adhere to the floating policy which may include assignment to other Med Surg departments. - Work scheduled 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend. - Wear navy blue or white solid scrubs as per the dress code.
