Job DetailsTitle Registered Nurse (RN) DialysisLocation Roanoke, VAShift- 40hours/week (4x10)Supervisory Eligible to serve as Team Leader or Nurse in Charge upon completion of onboarding and training.o Must have at least 9 months of RN experience.o Must have a minimum of 3 months of chronic/acute Hemodialysis RN experience.Key Responsibilities: Perform ongoing patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis treatments. Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and adjust individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on dialysis treatments, kidney health, and lifestyle adjustments. Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses. Participate in emergency response protocols and assist in critical care situations. Support, mentor, and guide Patient Care Technicians, LPNs/LVNs, and fellow RNs in daily operations. Ensure proper collection, processing, and documentation of lab specimens. Promote patient awareness of transplant and treatment modality options.Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Active RN licensure in the state of practice. Current BLS/CPR certification (or completion prior to start).
