On a typical day, 5A has 24 patients with a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio and 1:10 CA/patient ratio. We serve the general population of hospitalized patients with a variety of conditions. The conditions include illnesses, surgery, testing, and observation patients. We take care of patients with comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, stroke, renal and psychiatric issues. Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred).
