Department/Unit Summary
SOVAH Danville's Behavioral Health Unit is a 24-bed unit which provides services that treats mental health issues and promotes patient wellbeing. We have a team of staff Psychiatrists, Nurses, Counselors, Social Workers, Case Managers and Technicians that offer individual, group and family therapy. Additionally, we support this with medication therapy and other interventions. Once discharged, we also have involvement from our community care partners, which help support a successful return to the home environment.
About our Health System SOVAH Danville is a 250 bed hospital located in Danville, VA, and is part of Lifepoint Health , a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier - with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school ( Bachelor's degree preferred).
