Job Description:

A facility is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. While on assignment in Salem, Virginia, tube down the Roanoke River, explore downtown Roanoke, or visit Parkway Brewing Company! This is a Monday through Friday assignment from 7 AM to 5 PM, with no call required. The locum will supervise CRNAs and should be comfortable in an ASC setting with up to 5 ORs running daily. Typical cases include GI, ophthalmology, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, and pediatrics - experience in a fast-paced environment and proficiency in blocks is essential. The facility handles approximately 650 cases monthly, with around 3035 per day, and uses paper charting. Credentialing takes place on the first day, and temporary privileges may be possible. Dates Needed: 6.1.25 - 7.31.25 Case Load/PPD: 650 cases a month and about 30-35 a day.
